Punch Needle Rug Hooking for Beginners

  •  August 15, 2024
     5:00 pm - 8:30 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

In this workshop you’ll learn the basics of punch needle rug hooking while working on a small project. While traditional rug hooking involves pulling a piece of wool or yarn up through the background, punch needle rug hooking involves punching yarn or wool down through the background. Punch needle rug hooking can be used to create anything from a small trivet to a large rug.

No previous experience with any type of handcraft or with a punch needle is necessary. All stages of rug hooking may not be able to be completed during the class session; however, all steps of the process will be taught so you can finish your piece at home.
