Private Event: MN Artists Workshop: Duluth
-
September 4, 2019
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Mn Artists visits the Duluth Folk School for a lively workshop and discussion on artists’ participation in digital communities. For the first part, we’ll show you how to best use Mn Artists’ online professional development tools. Then we’ll facilitate a conversation on how artists can learn, connect, and catalyze their work via web platforms.
This workshop is recommended for artists at all stages of their careers who want to improve their online presence and connect to more opportunities, communities, and conversations, both locally and regionally. Share perspectives with your peers and other professionals on how digital platforms are transforming artists’ practices, careers, and communities.
Mn Artists is a dynamic online community dedicated to supporting and improving the quality of art and artists in the Midwest through responsive arts reporting and criticism, and by connecting artists with collaborators, influencers, and audiences. Mn Artists recently completed a major redesign that launched in November 2014.
You may bring your own laptop or tablet if you’d like to follow along on the site.
