Plaster Repair

5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
This class is part of our ‘How Your House Works’ series.
Learn how to repair a plaster and lath wall! This class is a hands-on workshop. An experienced construction professional will guide students through the basic concepts, demonstrate common tools and materials, and guide the class to practice typical techniques on a real wall.
This class will meet at an in-progress residential home to experience repairs in context. Many older homes have plaster (or drywall) walls that need repair, so this is a great opportunity to get your hands dusty before working on your own projects!
In this class, the instructor will answer questions and cover a variety of situations. Each student will walk away with some helpful resources, some handy tricks and a better understanding of plaster repairs.
