Pets & Silhouettes Linoleum Block Printing

  •  August 4, 2023
     5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

In this class you will be choosing or creating a background on which to print your silhouette and then carving a design as the foreground/silhouette block. You will discover different colored or recycled papers on which you can print, or design a printed, colorful background of your own. The pet theme is loose, but think of things you might see in a black ink foreground (trees, houses etc.). We will also touch on registration (lining up the edges of your color block (background) with the carved block (foreground) if you decide to design your own first layer.

Registration Includes

Students will go home with a number of printed items that they have created (notecards and/or framable prints) as well as the linoleum block(s) that they have carved which can be reused for future printmaking.
