Peg Loom Weaving

  • September 18, 2021
    10:00 am - 1:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

In this class, you will assemble your peg loom, and then use it to create a woven chair mat! Get one more use out of those T-shirts that just aren’t suitable for wearing in public any more! Peg looms are simple to use, and small enough to store easily when they aren’t in use.

This is a great introduction to weaving, without all the complications of a more traditional mechanical loom. During class we’ll start by cutting T-shirts into loops, then we’ll use yarn to warp the loom, and by the end of class you’ll have a chair mat to take home with you, a peg loom of your own, and the skill necessary to turn all your old T-shirts into practical and nice looking rag rugs.
