This is a hands-on learning class for gardeners who want to garden organically – without chemicals. Debbie will share her knowledge and the easy methods she has developed over 40 years as a backyard gardener and greenhouse grower.
Part of the class will cover beneficial flowers, herbs, and companion planting to deter pests. You’ll also learn natural pest control methods for slugs, flea beetles, moles and voles, deer, spotted wing drosophilia, fruit flies, cabbage moth worms, apple maggots, aphids and ants, mosquitoes and more!

By the end of class, you’ll go home with an informative handout with lots of tips, two sticky traps, two ant traps, and a comprehensive laminated field guide: “Mac’s Midwest Field Guide of beneficial and harmful bugs” (a $15 value!).
