Music: Ty Johnson

Ty Johnson is a singer songwriter from the Duluth area. He writes an eclectic mix of music that draws from folk, blues, country and Americana.

He draws from a list of musicians that could be Doc Watson, Prince and anything in between. You can pretty much expect to hear at least one John Prine song. He hopes to make you giggle, cry and think through his songs. Some songs are personal and some are general, but he hopes that most of all the songs mean something to you. He feels it is more important how a song reverberates to the listener and that they can experience a song, and not just listen to a song.
