Music Residence: Sonja Bjordal

Come on down to the Duluth Folk School for free music by our June Music Resident artist, Sonja Bjordal!

Sonja Bjordal has been playing and performing in Duluth since the early 2000’s. She has been alongside her long time life and musical partner Lee Martin for many a year, playing under a few different band names. Currently, she performs with her band Feeding Leroy, and they continue to travel and spread their sound around the country.

Sonja has been a Duluth resident since 2002 and has become a homeowner in the Lincoln Park neighborhood where she enjoys hiking the trails, walking around town and frequenting new shops and eateries in the neighborhood. Sonja loves to perform solo as well as with her bandmates. She is a lover of folk song and stories that weave us all together.

She will be performing each Monday night in June, at the Duluth Folk School.
