
Mentor Monday: Block Printing

This is a private class for youth waiting for a Mentor North Match. What better way to connect than learning a new skill together?!
After gaining some understanding of the history of block printing and different techniques and supplies that can be used, we will familiarize ourselves with the tools and materials used for this project. Our process will include drawing a one of a kind design, carving it into a linoleum block, inking the block and printing your image.
Registration Includes
Participants will go home with a 4″x6″ carved lino block that can be used again and again, as well as prints that can be displayed around your home or used as postcards to loved ones!
You should bring…
All tools and materials will be provided. Just bring ideas you’d like to try for your block print design!

This class is for adult Mentor North mentors, and their youth mentees, ages 10-15
