We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

The traditional Log Cabin Quilt is one of the most beloved and recognized patterns, and a wonderful quilt for beginning quiltmakers. The quilt block consists of a center (often red, representing the hearth of the home), surrounded by strips of light fabrics on one side (the sunny side of the cabin) and strips of dark fabrics on the other side (the shady side of the cabin). The Log Cabin quilt can be constructed using traditional fabrics, modern fabrics, or fabric scraps; all styles are visually appealing.

This 3-part hands-on workshop will include: choosing and cutting the fabrics, piecing the quilt blocks, basic machine quilting, adding the binding to the outer edge, plus many quiltmaking tips and tricks. Students will complete a lap-sized quilt (approx. 45″x45″), with homework between class meetings.

Registered students will receive a complete supply list by email.
