Introduction to Watercolor

This class is perfect for individuals looking to try watercoloring.  You will explore fundamental watercolor techniques including paint mixing, water use, and brushstrokes. This class provides the building blocks of watercolor in a fun and creative environment. Whether you’re new to painting or have experience, this class will be engaging for all.

Registration Includes

Instruction and all supplies are included. Participants will learn the basics of watercolor, learning different techniques and tools useful for creating watercolor pieces. Participants will go home with several water color paintings that they have made as well as knowledge to keep on creating.

What goes into our class pricing? As a local nonprofit, Duluth Folk School is committed to supporting both our instructors and community. We want to compensate our instructors fairly, keep class sizes small, and keep our doors open—while also keeping prices as low as we can.
