Course Overview

During this class you will learn the basic techniques and history of Norwegian Rosemaling. We will cover supplies, brushwork, and paint mixing. There will be a brief history of the folk art and introduction to the regional styles.

Registration Includes

Registration includes all instruction and materials (including brushes, paper handouts, tracing paper, quality oil paint, etc). You’ll go home with printed handouts, practice sheets, and hopefully an enthusiasm for rosemaling!

Skill Level

Previous painting experience is helpful, but not required.

Best for Ages…

18 and older.

You should bring…

Oil paint/brushes of your own if you’d prefer to use your own. A notebook and writing utensil.

      Hi Angela. This is the first time this class has been offered, so we don’t yet have a recurring scheduled for it. We HAVE had a lot of interest, so I’m sure we’ll be offering another class before long.
