Homeschool Handcrafting

Our Homeschool Handcrafting classes are the first Friday of each month (except for this particular month). These monthly classes bring homeschooled youth together to learn handcrafting skills and build friendships.

String art is a fun project that consists of hammering nails into wood and wrapping string between them to create a one-of-a-kind work of art. It’s like a “connect the dots” that you can make your very own! You can use this technique to make geometric shapes, pictures, letters and more. In this class, participants will come up with their own unique design to bring to life on a wooden plaque.
