Homeschool Handcrafting: Felted Beads

Our monthly Homeschool Handcrafting classes bring homeschooled youth together to learn handcrafting skills and build friendships!

Take colorful wool , add soap and hot water, roll it in your hands, and – presto – you just made a felted bead. In this class, you’ll be learning the basics of wet felting, making the beads, then stringing them for a necklace or bracelet.

Registration Includes

Students will go home with one or more wool felt beads strung for either a bracelet or necklace and the knowledge to make more at home.

You should bring…

Please bring a bath towel to work on. All other materials will be supplied.

Skill Level

No special skills required.

Best for Ages…

7 and older.

Additional Purchases Available

Small bags of roving will be available for purchase
