
Homeschool Handcrafting: Block Printing

This class is part of our monthly Homeschool Handcrafting series, and is intended for Homeschooled kids.
After gaining some understanding of the history of block printing and different techniques and supplies that can be used, we will familiarize ourselves with the tools and materials used for this project. Our process will include drawing a one of a kind design, carving it into a linoleum block, inking the block and printing your image.
Registration Includes
Participants will go home with a carved lino block and three prints that can be displayed around the house or used as postcards to a friend!
You should bring…
All supplies will be provided, but bring something for a mid-morning snack!

No special skills required.

The Library is upstairs in the Duluth Folk School/Dovetail Cafe building.
Note: The Library is up one flight of stairs, and we do not have an elevator.
