Homegrown: Norshore Summit

  •  April 29, 2019
     6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Get ready for full participation as this band encourages “shout backs and singalongs” as part of its frenetic indie folk!

“Crowds can expect to dance to lyrical, foot-stomping, feel-good songs, as well as sway to moving, heart-wrenching yet dynamic ballads,” says lead vocalist and guitar player Lyla Abukhodair, who is a Duluth native along with cajon player Kevin Ott. Andrea Leonard plies the fiddle along with John Ostlund on the mandolin. Jake Abel puts out the bass line and Alissa Hokr adds vocals and the requisite tambourine.

They’ve been at it for two years, hitting the Red Herring Lounge regularly, along with plenty of craft breweries.
