Hemming 101

  •  April 16, 2020
     6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Do you have pants that are too long? A skirt that needs to be shortened? Do the cuffs of your jeans drag on the floor? Do you want to save the money and fix them yourself?

In this adult class, we will show you how to hem your pants and skirts using both hand stitching and sewing machine techniques. We will discuss how to determine the length and inseam, how to prep your fabric, what technique is best, and what materials to use.

Registration Includes

Instruction and all materials (threads, measuring tools, and sewing materials) plus samples to practice on. By the end of class, you’ll go home with a newly-hemmed garment, and the knowledge to make do and mend your own clothing!

You should bring…
