Heart of the Continent Science Symposium

  •  April 8, 2019
     7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Heart of the Continent Partnership invites you to attend a free social and ecological science-poster presentation and informal meet-and-greet on April 8th from 7-9pm at the Duluth Folk School. This event precedes a day-long event on April 9th at the University of Minnesota Duluth that will include presentations on social and ecological science conducted in the Heart of the Continent (see https://www.traveltheheart.org/content/hocp-science-symposium/hoc7c92995700ac4dede for more information about both events).

The Heart of the Continent Partnership is a Canadian-American coalition of land managers and local stakeholders working together on cross-border projects that promote the region’s economic, cultural and natural health of the lakes, forests and communities.

Heart of the Continent’s Science Committee is continuing its mission to build and strengthen a coalition of scientists, land managers, and stakeholders dedicated to the preservation of natural and cultural resources across the Heart of the Continent landscape.
