December 9, 2019
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
A fun and simple project to take a block of thin wood, cut the outline with saws, shape the blade and handle portions with hand tools, and smooth it out with files and sandpaper. We will work with you to discover the techniques so that you can make a natural, hand carved cake knife that can even cut breads and produce.
This is a project that almost anyone can do and the end result, makes a beautiful, handcrafted gift.
