Age Range

This camp is for kids entering 6th – 8th grade this fall

In Handcrafting Camp, kids will build, cook, weave, lash, tie, and sew cool, useful take home creations!

We’ll create fun and functional toys!

Handcrafting Camp is about learning handcrafting skills and creating awesome things. Activities include lashing, sewing, woodworking, fly fishing, and baking with fire as well as fun games and activities.  We will also see how professionals create world class products, with behind the scene tours of local handcrafting businesses (like Duluth Pottery and Frost River Trading Co.) in the Lincoln Park Craft District.

A fantastic camp for kids that like to be active and do things with their hands.

A box lunch (prepared by the Dovetail Cafe!) will be provided for each day of camp. After registration, we’ll contact you about food preferences.
