Flower Arranging and Watercolor

In this class you will learn how to arrange flowers and then paint your arrangement with watercolor. After we arrange our flowers, we will consider light and shadow for our composition. We will make adjustments to our arrangement according to our desired composition utilizing artistic elements. Finally, we will learn how to successfully capture your arrangement with watercolor paint tools with a wispy, minimal style.

Registration Includes

Instruction and watercolor supplies are included. Students will take home several watercolor paintings and a flower arrangement.

What goes into our class pricing? As a local nonprofit, Duluth Folk School is committed to supporting both our instructors and community. We want to compensate our instructors fairly, keep class sizes small, and keep our doors open—while also keeping prices as low as we can.

Student Requirements

• Skill Level/Prerequisite Skills: This class is for anyone
• Best for Ages: 13 and older
• You should bring: A variety of flowers (at least 3) and a vase or jar to put them in.
