Autumn leaves are not the only beautiful fall colors! In this class, you will learn how to find, and how to use local sources of natural dyes including goldenrod, hollyhocks, mushrooms, and lichens.

You will learn the basics of processing natural dyes, how to ethically collect natural dye materials, and go home with sample skeins of yarn you dyed.

Registration Includes

Instruction, merino wool yarn, mordants, and dye materials.

Skill Level

This class is for any skill level.

Best for Ages…

13 and older.

You should bring…

You should wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained.
