Ecoprinting Silk Scarves

  • June 27, 2019
    6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Plants contain a variety of natural pigments that can be printed directly onto fabrics in a technique called ecoprinting (or contact dyeing).

You’ll take a silk scarf, lay out a design in leaves and flowers, and learn how to roll it into a bundle. You’ll take your completed roll home to bake. The magic happens when you unroll your bundle the next day and discover your beautiful print. Once you learn the technique, you can create your own one-of-a-kind wardrobe!

Registration Includes

You’ll go home with a scarf bundle ready to be baked in the oven to complete the process.

Would you mind telling me who the instructor is? I’d love to see if we could try this project here in central MN. Thanks.
