Oh the peaceful sounds of summer…waves washing up on the shore and wind chimes blowing in the breeze. You can enjoy both and bring a bit of the beach to your own backyard with this fun nature craft!
In this class, we’ll be making wind chimes from driftwood! We’ll prepare our driftwood with sandpaper, a saw, and a drill to piece it together with other unique objects for a one-of-a-kind creation.
Instruction, all materials. By the end of class, you will have a unique driftwood wind chime to hang up in your garden, backyard, front porch, or wherever the wind blows!
You should bring…
Bring at least a handful of driftwood pieces up to about 7” long and other small objects you might like to incorporate (such as seashells, pine cones, beads, etc.) We will have some extra items if you need to add a few more. We’ll have all the tools required to put the wind chimes together. Wear clothes you won’t mind getting dirty/dusty, or bring along an apron.
No prior experience is needed.
Best for Ages…
6 to 11 years old.
