Demystifying Sewing: Basic Sewing Techniques
-
March 4, 2026
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
So, you can thread a sewing machine without breaking into a cold sweat—now what? In this class, we’ll dive into basic sewing techniques. We explore how to wrangle your wiley sewing machine into doing useful work, and along the way learn about different seams, allowances, making turns and navigating curves, and maybe even sewing in the round. Feel free to bring a sewing machine you’re comfortable with, but we have machines to borrow in any event.
