Duluth is well-known for its Canal Park tourist attractions, the University of Minnesota Duluth championship hockey team and gateway to the north shore, Minnesota’s recreational mecca. But Duluth and its port is also a vital, vibrant link between the Upper Midwest and the global economy.Conversations on the Creative Economy returns to Duluth to talk with leaders from three innovative companies with sales and ambitions extending well beyond the city and state’s borders.

Greg Benson is CEO of Loll Designs and its modern outdoor furniture from recycled materials. Emily Vikre is co-founder and president of Vikre with its artisanal gin, aquavit and whiskey. Lynn Wisneski is Chief Operations Officer of Aero Design and Manufacturing Company which manufactures protective clothing for motorcycle enthusiasts.

The event is being held at the Duluth Folk School with food supplied by OMC Smokehouse.
