
Coffee Cupping 101

This summer, Almanac Coffee will be moving into a roasting studio in the Folk School and will be collaborating with the Dovetail Cafe, offering a variety of coffee based drinks to the community.
Leading up to the opening, this class will give you a sneak peak at some of Almanac Coffee’s current coffee offerings. Through a group-led exercise, you will explore the flavors and fragrances of multiple and very different, coffees, and will begin to learn how to better communicate and understand what you are experiencing.
This class will also cover some coffee basics and home brewing advice using manual brew methods.
Registration Includes
You will learn the skills to brew better coffee, and how to analyze the varying aspects of this beverage (aroma, fragrance, flavor, mouthfeel, acidity, etc.). Overall, this experience will help you become a more knowledgeable and engaged coffee drinker. Everyone will also go home with a 10 oz. bag of just-roasted beans from Almanac Coffee!
