Make something beautiful out of trash! Chip bags go into the landfill when they are empty. But that metallic luster on the inside is so sparkly. With a little care and a good wipe-down, that material can be cut and woven into lightweight metallic beads.

Once you have the technique down, you won’t look at your snack packaging the same way again. The instructor will have a variety of finished woven beads, glass beads, and thread for you to make finished ornaments to take home.

Registration Includes

Instruction and all materials. You will take home 3 – 5 completed beads of various sizes.

Skill Level

No prior experience needed.

Best for Ages…

18 and older.

You should bring…

Bring a pair of scissors for cutting the bags. Optional: bring your own (clean) chip bags or other similarly stiff plastic/foil packaging whose colors you like. The instructor will also have plenty to choose from.
