You will learn to trace and measure your own feet to sew the best fitting slippers you have ever worn!
We’ll be sewing by hand, so the seams will be bulky, but felt is easy to push a needle through, so you should be able to handle it just fine. We will provide wool felt for the soles, but the uppers can be anything you like, or you can choose from the selection we’ll have available during class.
Once you know the basics, you will be able to trace anyone’s feet and make them some comfy slippers as well… and if you are adventurous, shoe soling rubber is available online, and you could make your comfy slippers into comfy shoes!
Instruction, and by the end of class, you’ll have a pair of slippers made just for you! You’ll also learn how to make more.
You’ll be sewing by hand, but no prior experience is necessary.
Best for Ages

You should bring…
Bring a couple dozen pins, sharp scissors, and if you want, bring your own sweater material (felted or not) that will be cut up to make the slippers.
