6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Have you ever been overwhelmed looking at the variety of beer options at your local pub or tap room? Would you like to learn how to tell a porter from a stout? Have you ever wondered what makes a beer fit into a certain style? Most importantly, can you describe what you like and why so you always identify beers you like most?
This beer tasting class will teach you everything you need to order with confidence, no matter how long the list of beers might be. We will be using the amazing tap list at the Dovetail Cafe here at the Folk School to facilitate discussion with a certified BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program) judge from the Northern Ale Stars home brew club. Topics will revolve around characteristics of specific beers: colors, aromas, and flavors, all while having a great time with like minded folks!
