July 25, 2021
10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Rosemaling is the traditional Norwegian folk art of decorative painting from the 1700s and 1800s.
Come and learn the basic painting skills needed to begin creating your own rosemaled items. In this class we will discuss the equipment necessary for rosemaling in acrylic and oil paints, and then practice the basic strokework used in rosemaling. Finally, we will prepare and paint a small project of our own.
This class will be taught using oil paints but acrylic painters are welcome!
We will take a midday break for lunch midway through class. You are welcome to bring a bag lunch, or enjoy some of the delicious food and drinks from the Dovetail Cafe!

I would like to sign up for your September class. Would that be one full day or shorter days 10, 11, 12? And what is the procedure to register?
