NOTE – This class takes place on the afternoon of Easter
In this class, we’ll be learning the basics of getting a good edge on a tool. Whether it be a knife, a chisel, or a pair of scissors, this is your chance to no longer feel embarrassed about all those dull knives in your kitchen!
Stones and some sample blades will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own needy edges.
This is not a demo – this will be hands-on, and your hands will be in the dirty stone water. Be prepared to get a little messy!
Instruction and use of sharpening stones. You will leave with a wicked sharp blade!
No prior experience needed.
Best for Ages…
18 and older.
You should bring…
Bring a knife or blade of your own that you’d like to use, to practice sharpening.
Venue: Duluth Folk School
