Have you always wanted to learn how to make venison sausage? Or to make any kind of sausage from your own meat? Come join John and Jesse, who have been making sausage with their families for years – John’s family makes traditional smoked Polish sausage with pork and beef. Jesse’s family likes to experiment with fresh bratwurst using beef, venison and pork.
In this class you will learn how to make your own brats, breakfast sausage, and smoked kielbasa, from a selection of tried-and-true recipes. We’ll take you through the whole process, from grinding to mixing to stuffing to smoking, and most importantly, to eating! This will be a fun and tasty class! When class is over you’ll be bringing home about five pounds of sausage for your freezer!

You will go home with about five pounds of sausage that you stuffed!

You should bring…
Your favorite apron and hunger! If you have spice or flavor ideas you’d like to try, bring along ingredients (mushroom brats? maple syrup breakfast sausage?)
