Once you have a handmade, super comfortable, super functional, custom-fit leather thimble, you’ll wonder how you ever sewed without it! In fact, you’ll probably discover that you need two or three so that you can stash one wherever you might be working!
We’ll learn the basics of crafting with leather as we work step by step through making a thimble that fits your finger exactly. If time permits, you can also start another small leather project (like a credit card sleeve or a bracelet) to build your skills.
You’ll leave this class with the best thimble you’ll ever own, and the knowledge to make another one whenever you need it. You’ll also have basic leather sewing skills that you can apply to making many other projects.
