Felted Bowls

Have you ever wondered how to transform sheep’s wool into a beautiful felted bowl? During this class you will learn how to turn wool, warm water, soap and agitation into a beautiful and artistic felted bowl!

 

You will come to understand the basic principles of the craft as well as what the terms “resist,” “felting,” and “fulling” refer to.

Registration Includes

Instruction, all materials. You will design and create a unique 6” felted bowl to bring home.

Skill Level

No prior experienced required

Best for Ages…

18 years or older

You should bring…

Bring two old bath towels, and a small sharp pair of scissors. Be sure to dress comfortably as you could get a little wet. Also, be ready for a bit of a workout – felting is great exercise!
