Explore the medicinal plants, trees and fungi of the boreal Lake Superior region with Master Herbalist, Gigi Stafne.
During this daylong adventure, we’ll identify and explore important medicinal, wild edible, cultural, and ecological uses of regional plants. This course includes foundational indoor coursework, followed by nature-immersion components, with a plant ID walk in our boreal region.
Participants will go home with a Plant Journal full of amazing new herbal information to get started on their plant journey!
This class is ideal for anyone with a budding, unfurling interest in medicinal herbs! We’ll begin (and end) at the Duluth Folk School, and venture out from there!
